It is my intention to show how these lines or any lines could be used to
display an image above by using smoke or balloons.
Using Smoke Smog or Fog
I believe that the lines were used as a template for creating images into
the air. My Idea is based on the seasonal wind change. When the winds are slow
and uniform, when the humidity and temperatures are right, the conditions for a
lasting smoke exist. I also believe that minerals mined, charcoal, oils, leafs,
or other items could have been used in a combination to create a lasting smoke,
smog or fog. When temperatures and humidity is correct, I believe it can be
done. Some I believe were simply stood up from the top of the drawing to the
bottom of the drawing. This would make an image easy to view from a vantage
point on the ground at the top of the drawing.
Others lifting and rotating. The most spectacular would be to lift up travel off the
end of a plateau and viewed from below with a full moon directly behind.
Using Balloons
If there was no wind balloons filled with helium could be run to any height.
If they were all connected you would see an image in the sky of the lines below.
Balloons filled with helium tied together in length along any line could
be released in unison. This would not harm the lines and could add many colors
to an image that may have only been viewed previously in just one color.
